Goddammit the books are better than I ever expected.

Yep, I have so many favorite moments across all the books. I started with ebooks with the Witcher and I really like it because I can highlight, bookmark, word look up and everything it’s so nice. I have all my favorite moments and quotes bookmarked or highlighted.
That is a good idea lol
I feel you. Did a similar thing a month back. Couldn't keep the books down. Finished all eight in 14-15 days. Was cursing the human need for sleep as I wanted to just keep reading day and night.
Yeah haha I genuinely just don’t want to sleep anymore
No kidding - I was sometimes reading in excess of 10 hours a day. Even on workdays!
I just started reading The Last Wish. Super excited to finish this and start the next one!
The books are amazing
They really are
It feels so good to be a Poleman now.
Yeah I only read the books after playing the witcher 3 and loved them so much. Definitely one of my favourite fantasy series.

They are incredibly engrossing. Bought all 8 in a set. Read all 8 in like 3 weeks. I feel you.
All the books are 3000 pages. You read a thousand pages a week?!
They are not 3000 pages. I just pulled the last one off the shelf, it’s 529
Yeah because that’s on a kindle fam. There are way less words per page. I read paperbacks
The last book (Season of Storms) is 529 pages, right? On the Kindle, it's 344 pages.
Oh you’re talking altogether? Yeah I read a thousand pages a week
When I first got into The Witcher games I wanted to get the books. Lo and behold, I found some crazy man on eBay selling the entire collection for only $24! To this day it is the greatest steal I've ever had. All the books are in ok condition.
My plan in the future is -when I'm done with them completely- to donate them to my local library.
It really bugged me how they just up and ended Baptism of Fire without much mention of Ciri. Same for you?
There's a reason for that though, as you'll find out in Tower of the Swallow.
Oh my god no joke, I was just there like yeah what’s happening next whats Ciri doing? What’s yen doing since she managed to escape the meeting? Does she meet Ciri? and then I flipped the page and the book ended and I was just like what the fuck. How u gonna end like that bro
They had to end the book with the stupid Geralt of Rivia thing.
I was SO disappointed.
Ah well, I'm sure Tower of Swallows will make up for it lol
“Welcome to the poor fucking infantry!”
There are also audiobooks with actors and FX sounds which are amazing! [YouTube teaser](https://youtu.be/pVSNW6JhFPY)
Unfortunately only in Polish
Just to encourage you to learn Polish: the translations are actually awful, especially the short stories - like terrible to the point you wonder how on Earth Witcher got popular in the US.
Teaching crap swear words using an unfunny boomer joke. Nice.
